1. What is Erb's palsy?

Erb's palsy or brachial plexus palsy or shoulder dystocia occurs when excessive traction is applied to the fetal neck area during delivery which results in the compression of the brachial plexus nerves. Erb's palsy can cause a number of problems which may include:
